Because I listen to Asian music does not make me weird. It makes me who I am. Unique isn’t the right word because we are a huge fandom. People don’t understand me when I tell them I listen to Korean and Japanese music. They don’t understand the pleasure I get when that song comes on and I can dance to it in the car. The confidence it gives me when I know all the words to some of my favorite songs because I study hard every day just to know what my boys are saying. I don’t really care if anyone understands, though. It’s personal. It’s that thing that I love that no one can take away from me. I don’t care if you mock me. I love it and I’m never looking back.
